For some reason people think the rhomboids are important for posture. Probably because they always are tender/hurting.

Image

This doesn’t indicate them as a problem

It just indicates them as overworking.

And you can make them as strong as you want, but they will never be able to overcome the BIG muscles that are likely causing the issues

  • lats

  • pecs

  • traps (probably)

Just based on pure size of the above compared to rhomboids, stiffness In these will have more affect on the body.

Work these muscles above through a full ROM and the rhomboids WILL be involved.

Isolate the rhomboids and you won’t work the lats/pecs through a FULL ROM

Our shoulder program does just this by providing

strength through a full range of motion

Combine it with our mobility program and posture problems just melt away.

Both are included with you upgrade your substack subscription. The shoulder program is below. I’ll email you the mobility program.
