As someone who works on soft tissue, I’ll add that, because the shoulder is the most mobile joint in the body, holding it still for 6 weeks will cause all the other muscles in that quadrant of the body (pecs, traps, lats, obliques, etc) to get incredibly tight. I’ve worked one people for 3 months - when they’re also doing PT - to get normal range of motion back.
